PROJECTOR SERIES SPEAKER A Whelen Projector™ Series Speaker model # SA315P shall be provided. The all-weather siren speaker shall incorporate a 100 watt front loaded speaker driver installed in an all-weather black nylon composite base. The speaker driver shall consist of a neodymium core incased in a black nylon composite non-corrosive housing. The SA315P shall have a nylon composite base with a RTV silicone gasket to provide additional protection against environmental elements. The SA315P shall have a neoprene gasket to prevent water, moisture, dust, and other environmental conditions from entering the interior of the siren. The SA315P will contain a 20” non-terminated pigtail. The solid state siren speaker shall be vibration resistant. The SA315P shall comply with California Title XIII, Class A, and SAE J1849 requirements with most 100 watt sirens. The SA315P complies with OSHA 1910.95 Guidelines regarding “Permissible Noise Exposure”.
